Rue La La needed a partner to envision and design an experience to allow users to shop in an entirely new way with mobile and to accelerate revenue growth. They wanted to work with a strategic local Boston team to revamp their entire suite of apps, starting with Android. What’s more, the work had to be done on an aggressive two-month timeline, just in time for back-to-school shopping season. The team also set out to dramatically improve app performance and reliability including the build of a new backend CMS complete with a complex commerce engine. We succeeded, and shoppers rejoiced.

Rightpoint also designed and implemented the “sidecart” for Rue La La iPad. This innovative cart always lived just off screen and could be navigated to quickly and easily by either swiping or tapping the shopping bag icon. We made the checkout process as easy as “Add to Bag” and “Place Order.”
