Is the work we do as designers magical?

We meet others and are curious when they do something we do not do… and then we ask them about their work. We are curious beings; we want to know how the work became real. How did this thing come to life? How do artists do their thing? How does a designer choose just the right font? What’s the story? Does knowing about the process diminish the deliverable? And when we discover how the magic happens… can we repeat it?

During this talk we’ll deconstruct what goes into the magic of our art – both the beauty and the mess. You’ll hear examples of where small moments hold big big ideas, and learn what to apply to your work to design those special, magical moments that people remember.
