Culligan's accounts payable process was time intensive, manual, and paper-based. Searching through paper files was very time-consuming and expensive. There was also a risk that critical A/P information may be misfiled and/or lost.
Rightpoint created a solution for Culligan that streamlined and automated the A/P process with SharePoint and KnowledgeLake. Accounts Payable data is captured from invoices via scanners and software with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and automatically uploaded to a central SharePoint repository. Workflow rules are triggered to automate the manual and time consuming aspects of the process. Culligan now has an efficient, auditable electronic process in place.
