Speaker Bio: Jeremy Williams is a lead SharePoint Architect at
Rightpoint in Chicago, focusing on Microsoft technologies that
facilitate collaboration and efficiency. Jeremy's SharePoint
expertise includes a blend of deep development and infrastructure
expertise, coupled with a strong background in the Microsoft core
technology stack. This broad-based experience is especially
useful when planning SharePoint migrations. Past project work
includes experience in SharePoint Infrastructure and Architecture,
Information Architecture, Governance Planning, Branding and Design,
Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Automation, Social
Computing, System Migration, and Custom Development. Most recently,
Jeremy has been supporting client projects involving the design and
implementation of SharePoint 2010, as well as SharePoint 2007 to
2010 migration scenarios ranging from single-server to large-farm
topologies, collaborative to publishing-only applications, and
lightly-customized to heavily-customized deployments. With
successful SharePoint engagements at companies such as Abbott Labs,
Grant Thornton International, and the Chicago Housing Authority,
Jeremy holds both Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
and Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certifications,
and earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from
Marquette University.
