CHICAGO - November 10, 2011 - Rightpoint, a new breed digital
consulting firm, announced today that it has reduced its carbon
footprint by over 150 metric tons since sponsoring clean energy and
carbon reduction projects through TerraPass, a leading originator
of U.S.-based carbon offset projects.
Rightpoint began its partnership with TerraPass in 2008 with the
purchase of 60 metric tons of carbon emission reductions.
Since that time, Rightpoint has continued to increase its efforts
as a Carbon Balanced Business, which support carbon reduction
projects that will result in verified, measurable reductions in
carbon emissions. As a result of its efforts, Rightpoint has been
named a TerraPass White Badge Partner. Conservation efforts
within the organization such as making smart choices in order to
significantly reduce travel and energy costs also help reduce
Rightpoint's carbon footprint.

TerraPass provides a means for companies to balance out their
carbon footprint by purchasing verified emissions reductions
achieved by funding clean energy projects such as wind farms, farm
power made from animal waste and landfill gas capture. TerraPass
carbon offsets allow companies to take responsibility for emissions
that can't be eliminated. To date, together with its partners,
TerraPass has eliminated over 2 billion pounds of greenhouse gas
emissions.
