The time has come - SharePoint Conference 2011 is upon us, and I am gearing up to head to Cali next week to soak up some knowledge (maybe some sun), meet some new people, be a groupie for some of my fave SharePoint-ers that I follow in the social world, and maybe attend a party or two (ahem, who are we kidding...I'll be asleep like the geek we all know I am).
I was finally able to take some time today to review the available sessions and see how my days will map out. Um, can I say information overload??? So many interesting topics makes it difficult to choose. So, I didn't...I've double booked myself for 2-3 topics in almost every time slot. Word.
In general, I am attending sessions on:
- Adoption and Change Management
- Governance
- Social Collaboration
- FAST Search
- SharePoint in the Cloud
- ...maybe some workflow?
All in all, it should be interesting. Interested in what I learned? Check back here next week for interesting little tidbits of knowledge that I pick up on the way. Even better, join us at the SharePoint "Rise & Shine" - Real World Examples of SharePoint in Practice event on Friday October 14...I'll be conducting a recap and highlights of my experience at SPC11.
Sidenote - big shout out to Rightpoint for enabling me to attend SPC11; woot!
