Dennis J. Waldron

Dennis Waldron is a Director at Rightpoint and is responsible for the firm’s Enterprise Intelligence Practice. Dennis has over twenty-two years of IT experience as an executive and strategic consultant for ERP/ Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence environments. Mr. Waldron is recognized as a Chief Enterprise Architect with emphasis on data strategy, data governance, and analytics. He has managed advanced technical and functional teams that analyze, design, build, and run the ERP and Enterprise Intelligence systems of expanding organizations. His industry experience includes pharmaceuticals, finance, consumer packaged goods (CPG), insurance, education, electronics & high tech, government, health care, and manufacturing. Key consulting clients include Harley Davidson, Schering-Plough, Arizona Health-Care Cost Containment System, Lovelace Health Systems, Ricoh, Tosco, UPS, United States Postal Service, GE Capital, Exodus, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

In a technical capacity, Dennis is recognized as a leader in Information Lifecycle Management: Master Data Management (MDM), structured and unstructured data lineage, business & data modeling, performance tuning, database & data warehouse design, and QA reviews.

Dennis began his career as a consultant working for Oracle Consulting Services and Sybase. After many years on the technology expert path, he moved to Andersen Consulting (Accenture) as an executive Global Technical Architect Lead for large program delivery integrating Oracle eBusiness, SAP, and PeopleSoft ERP implementations for Fortune 100 clients.

After many successful years with Accenture, Dennis joined ACNielsen in 2003 where he reported directly to the CIO as the Director of Enterprise Architecture. In that role he provided leadership and direction in driving the corporate technology/data vision and IT investment strategy that was congruent with the US, European, and Global business strategies. He had oversight of the technology vision that drove 9,000+ custom client database solutions and custom applications (proprietary DSS and OLAP tools).

In 2005, Dennis joined a major financial services company where he was Director of Data Asset Management; a change catalyst providing strategic leadership and direction in data strategy, data governance, data analytics, engineering, development, and maintenance of data as a corporate asset. Dennis was responsible for defining the Information Lifecycle to support the strategic business vision, current technology asset investments, and risk.

Desiring to return to dynamic culture of consulting, Dennis joined Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) in 2008 where he was client focused as the Chief Data & Technical Architect. He focused on BI/Data Warehousing, MDM, and strategic roadmaps for Financial, Healthcare and Biomedical companies. At Rightpoint, Dennis helps clients maximize their data assets.
